Emma is the owner of The Essentials salons. She has 23 years of salon experience. She opened The Essentials in 2002. She is happily married to Steve and they have been together 1996!

In her spare time, she loves Iyengar Yoga, running, days and eating out with friends and visiting her Mum and Dad in Spain.

Laura-Jayne joined us in 2021, has over 20 years of salon experience and is our Salon Manager at Castle Bromwich. She is passionate about the client journey and loves nails and skin.

She lives with her boyfriend Ray and her Daughter Amelia.  She loves going out for a meal and drinks out, and she is a tea and biscuit Queen.

Sarah has been part of the Essentials team since September 2018.  She is one of the most experienced. She has been in the industry for over 20 years so she a wealth of knowledge. She is a calm, warm and caring therapist with amazing waxing, facial and massage skills.

Sarah-Ann joined the Essentials Family 2019. She is a bubbly, chatty and caring therapist with a love for skincare and massage treatments. She lives at home with Mum & Dad and has a gorgeous Niece called Orla.

She loves going out to eat and to the cinema and theatre with her partner Lee.  

She was awarded a Silver Beauty Therapist of the Year Award in 2022 from The British Hair and Beauty Awards.

She loves anything Disney and is Sloth and animal mad!

Molly joined the Essentials Family 2021 as a beauty therapy apprentice. She is currently working through her Beauty Therapy level 2 qualification at HOET in birmingham and working with us in the salon. She is due to fully qualify in September 2022.

She has a son called Chester and lives live him and her partner Louis.  She enjoys, cleaning her flat, days out and going out for food with the family.

She describes herself as loving, witty and funny.

FUN FACT: She used to be a dancer and competed in lots of competitions.  SHe won gold at the Dance World Cup.

Rachael joined the team when our Coleshill salon opened in 2016. She is your 1st point of contact at Coleshill. She assists the therapists with their working day and our clients at reception and on the phone.

Rach has been married to Dan for over 17 years, and shares the house with 2 beautiful children and Kingsley the naughty Beddington Whippet Lurcher.

She loves spending time with the family, watching films (especially Marvel), T.V. such as Friends, following F1 motorsport, reading and running. She is super organised, loyal and has the biggest heart.

She describes herself as organised, loyal and shy.

FUN FACT: Boris Johnson told her she was a good Mum because she gave her daughter a banana in Solihull town centre.

Angela joined us in October 2017 and is amember of the front of our house team. She joined us from a long career in customer service and retail. She works across both of our salons and will help you with any booking inquiries you may have.

She is the younger sister to Shirley and has one daughter, our very own Salon Manager Amy! She is married to Dave for a few years now, but were actually high school sweethearts! She has a very busy social calendar with weekends away and holidays.  She is still friends with a lot of her school mates. She is caring, considerate and her friends are a big part of her life.

She loves music, dancing and gardening. She loved a back massage and a pedicure and you will find her in the salon on her days off having a treatment or 2.

Food Heaven: Spicy Chicken or Fish.

Food Hell: Coconut and fruit added into a savory dish.

• She was on TOTP when Tony Blackburn was the host. You can even find her on YouTube!  ‘You Should Be Dancing’ was No1 at the time. You are giving your age away now Ang!

Denise is a member of our front of house team. She came to us from a long career in education and brings with her the fun, caring and attentive personality with a whole bunch creativeness.

She has taken on the role of design and creating our window and reception displays.  She is bubbly, funny and is kean photographer. 

She has married to Gary, and has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. 

She describes herself as creative, gorgeous and fun.

She sat directly behind Tom Hardy when she went to see Matilda in London. She doesn’t remember much of the show , but clearly remember the back of his head and every hair on it.

Hayley is a member of our front of house team. She joined us in 2021 after a long career in childcare. She is a trained Beauty Therapist, and loves doing nails at home for friends and family. 

She brings a light and bubbly air to the salon with super organisation and some OCD about the nail colour swatches! 

She has married Paul and has 2 gorgeous daughters Marlei and Macy. She loves going out for food and drinks.

She describes herself as hardworking, loyal and happy.

Teresa is a member of our front of house team. She joined us in early 2022 after a long career as a primary school teacher.  Teresa has been a client of the Essentials since the beginning, so it fair to say she is a Essentials team groupie.

She brings her warm and caring side to salon, she makes a cracking cup of tea and has the most beautiful handwriting.  

She has married Colin and has 2 grown up children Olivia and Jake.

She loves going out for food, dancing, music and keeping fit.

She describes herself as kind, positive and bubbly.
